This is a cute cajun/southern restaurant in Denver. The exterior gives the flare of New Orleans. The customer service was good and the food was decent as well. The only thing I didn't like on the soft shell crab po boy was that it had something that tasted like sweet jam on it. However, I was able to fix it with hot sauce.

We came on a late Wednesday night after watching a show at the Buell Theatre. We ordered a catfish po boy, soft shell crab po boy, and etouffee. Although I can't quite say that any of the items we had were authentic, they did have their own special twists and were quite tasty. One thing that I didn't like was that the server immediately asked for my credit card to start a tab after we ordered our food. His excuse was that sometimes people get drunk and forget to pay, but we didn't order any drinks, so that wouldn't have applied to us at all. Regardless, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again, but if I found myself in Downtown Denver then I wouldn't mind stopping in again.

I will always try a cajun/creole restaurant respective of recommendations, tips, or . This was a solid experience. There were lots of standards and favorites, many bowls of gumbo went out, but I went with the Crawfish Etouffee. I would order again but the roux might have been cooked out enough as it was a little chalky, but the dirty rice was great. I added a piece of their cornbread too; don't skip this They have what looked to be a great full bar, but I was there for a working lunch.

Late arrival to Denver and this was one of the only places open late on our walk from Union Station to the hotel. We had the shrimp and grits, jalapeño hush puppies, and chicken fingers. My kid is picky about his chicken fingers and he said they were good. Shrimp and grits were great. Skip the hush puppies. They were good, but I rather fill up on other things. Service was awesome. Ambiance is nice. Overall, great experience.
